‘Tis the season! The Christmas season is upon us and there is no better time than now to start preparing! I think we all know that this season is not about gifts. Well maybe not everyone! But is a nice time to show others that we love and appreciate them. Over the next few weeks, I will be putting out a few different gift guides to help you come up with some unique ideas! Over the summer I did a blog post, 5 Hostess Gift Ideas That Won’t Leave You Empty Handed. You can read that here. It is a great post with ideas for everyday ideas when you are invited over to someone’s home. If you are in a pinch, you can always go with the old wine or flowers! 1. Minute Mimosa Sugar Cube Trio
When I came across this gift idea I almost grabbed it for myself! This is a perfect hostess gift for the champagne or wine lover in your life! There are 3 different flavors: Citrus Trio, Peaches & Berries, or Shimmer Citrus. You just drop them in your drink, and they will give a hint of flavor along with pieces of fruit that float to the top! Plus, they are made in the USA!
2. Charcuterie Christmas Tree Board
Charcuterie boards are very popular now! I think a perfect gift would be to come with a Christmas tree board decorated with different meats and cheeses and leave the board as a hostess gift!
3. Smore Roaster
Who doesn’t love smores?! This would be even more fun if the hostess has children. But let’s be honest, adults are going to love it too! Just add graham crackers, chocolate, and marshmallows to it!
4. Hand-Blown Olive Oil Pourer
Are you going to someone’s home that loves to cook? This is a great gift, and they are absolutely beautiful! It is something that the hostess will be able to leave out on the kitchen counter and not worry about tucking away in the pantry.
5. Christmas Tree Cookie Platter
Do you like to make Christmas cookies every year? Pick up one of these Christmas tree cookie platters and load it up with your cookies and give it to your hostess and let her keep the platter! If you aren’t a baker, stop by a local bakery and pick up a few cookies!
6. Throw
Who doesn’t love a soft and comfy throw for the couch? You could go with a Christmas color or neutral that they could keep out all year long. I don’t care what anyone says, you can never have too many throws!
7. Unique Gingerbread House Kit
One year when we had all our kids in town for Christmas we had a gingerbread house contest, boys against girls. It was a lot of fun! I recommend finding a unique gingerbread house like this one and bringing it to your hostess especially if they have kids!
8. Christmas Scented Reed Diffuser
I love reed diffusers, especially in the bathroom. They typically don’t have an overwhelming fragrance. A Christmas-scented one like peppermint would be a great gift. A lot of them come in pretty bottles too!
9. Wood Pizza Party Appetizer Serving Board
We usually do not make pizza at home but if I got this as a gift I would start! This is such a great idea! The board breaks apart with individual serving pieces. So cute!
10. Hand Soap & Lotion Set
This is such a great gift idea for someone who loves to personalize their guest bathroom. Having these matching soap & lotion sets makes a bathroom look so put together. A lot of times this is something people don’t want to splurge on for themselves but love getting as a small gift!
So, do you routinely bring a hostess gift when you are invited to someone’s home for a get-together? I think it is such a nice gesture to bring something. It doesn’t have to cost a lot, just to show that you appreciate them. Which Christmas hostess gift idea did you most like and might use this season? Please share below in the comments!
