Stocking Stuffers for the Hair Lover!

December 9, 2021 · Beauty

We are getting down to the wire until Christmas Day! Is anyone else stressing besides me? My mom always stuffed our stockings, and I have continued this tradition with our children…even into adulthood! I love doing it, maybe because partly I always loved it when my mom did it. I loved all the “little” things that she would put in there for us. The thoughtful gifts!

I am a big believer in the “little things” and how they can make an impact on someone else’s life. I am going to provide you with several stocking stuffer ideas for the hair lover in your life!

Mini Silk Scruncies

These are great for any type of hair! Thin, medium, or thick! They will help prevent breakage, reduce static, and even help to avoid putting creases in your hair like a lot of other hair elastics can do. Do yourself a favor and make the switch from regular hair elastics to these!

Microfiber Hair Towel!

If you read my last blog post, this will look familiar to you! This is a must! There is no reason why; we cannot look cute while keeping our hair healthy! Using a microfiber hair towel is a great way to prevent hair breakage. We should never get out of the shower after washing our hair and rub our hair to “towel dry” it. This causes a lot of friction which in turn causes breakage. After getting out of the shower, wrap your hair up in a microfiber hair towel to help absorb access water.

Wet Hair Brush

Why use a “Wet hairbrush”? They can be used on wet or dry hair. They help prevent breakage and split ends. I like the vented wet brush so; you can use it while you are blow-drying your hair.

Alligator Clips!

I have spoken about Alligator Clips before; I use them every day! I keep one in my shower to clip up my hair after I put my conditioner in or use my weekly hair masque. I have given this shower tip before but, it never hurts to go over it again, right?!

*Quick conditioner/masque tip! Keep a wide-tooth comb and Alligator clip in your shower and, after applying your conditioner/masque gently use your wide-tooth comb to comb through. Always start from the bottom and work your way up throughout your hair. After combing through, clip your hair up and finish up in the shower!

I also use these clips while I am blow drying my hair. I section off my hair and easily let each section down while drying. Your hair doesn’t get tangled up in them and that helps to prevent breakage!

Dry Shampoo

One thing I know for sure is that you can never have too much dry shampoo, and the best one out there is Monat’s, The Champ! It is different from most other dry shampoos because it does not contain butane or propane and is not flammable! I bet you did not know that the one you are probably using contains those ingredients! The Champ also does not leave any white residue and leaves you with great volume and texture! The perfect stocking stuffer!

So, what are your thoughts? These are great options that you can go out and grab last minute or you can click on the pictures, and it will take you to the links to purchase online! If you want to hear more about The Champ Dry Shampoo, just click here to fill out a consultation form!
